Just a sneak peek from my session this weekend…

If I had my druthers, I would have every client hang out for a couple of days with me. You get to learn their eccentricities and just observe. (Or they patiently wait while your migraine subsides…)

Can you look at this sweet baby girl and still see the newborn she was??? Can you believe she’s already 4 months old already? And so chubby and beautiful and pink!

Holli still hasn’t forgiven us for not letting her keep Ellie. I’m sure if she could write she would be mailing daily advice on the care and feeding of Uncle Matt’s baby.

Two days and still not enough time. But we will see her at Christmas.

Seriously. Can you look at that face and not say, “awwwwwwww…”?

Back to editing. I have to try and get back to routine after a lovely lazy holiday weekend. But I only have three more weeks until Christmas vacation!

Oh… and we must wrap our head’s around where we will be getting a tree this year. Lord knows I don’t want to be getting it the week before Christmas in the rain again.

And…yay! I get to pull out the Christmas music now. (Pandora rocks by the way. They have TWO Ray Conniff Christmas Stations!)

Family Adventure Weekend ~ West Georgia Family Photographer

We packed up the van and headed up to TN to meet my new niece on Saturday. The kids were so excited to meet her and she is such a doll! And the best part is I got to not only photograph her, but another family with adorable girls as well! You can’t beat a weekend like that!

There is a wonderful park in Murfreesboro, and forgive my punch-drunk-lack-of-sleep brain, but I can not remember the name of it…but seriously…gorgeous! And I didn’t even get to see half of it! (Which will be remedied on my next visit.) I’m so happy I got to meet Dana and Jeff and their girls, again. They are a beautiful family and the girls were so sweet.

Couldn’t you about eat that up with a spoon? I hate that we were running short on time, but I’m so glad we got a whole family picture in before they had to rush off for a birthday party…

I can’t wait to finish editing their session. It just tickles me that he proposed in the same park!

And, not that you could forget, my niece…

And I know there was a session leak, cell phone pictures were taken and everyone’s expecting the last picture but this just makes me tear up…

You guys are so cool and calm and I just remember what a bundle of nerves I was when Dharma was born. You did good work and she is splendid. Lavish that little girl with love, you hear me? And don’t ever feel guilty for holding her too much, because they don’t stay tiny long…shoot, I don’t remember any of mine that being small, but I know they were.

I’m all weepy now…

A Break From The Rain ~Family & Children Photography Tallapoosa, GA

So we have finally gotten a break from the rain and I start doing what I love again. And of course, Westley kicked the bucket. I really hate computers some days. And, in case you are wondering, it’s a Princess Bride reference; “Good Night, Westley. Good work. Most likely kill you in the morning.” But he has been resurrected and i’m right back in the swing of things.

That being neither here nor there, I got to hang out with E. and her family again. Photographing beautiful babies makes my world sing…

Happy (early) Birthday, Miss Eden ~ Children’s Photography of West Georgia

This ridiculous back and forth weather is going to make me nuts!. Luckily, we had already planned on taking some inside pictures of Eden…and her family. A sweet little girl who knows her mind. And she definitely liked the beautiful cake her mom made her. And to the pictures we go…

Another session to finish when warmer weather returns. I hope it makes up it’s mind soon!

I will be in TN all this next week during the kids Spring Break. I promised them I would be theirs for the week, so no computer. It’s going to be a wonderful visit.
